The beauty of southern graduations is truly a sight to behold! Ashley Hall had the most beautiful commencement ceremony Sunday evening, under the large magnolia and oak trees of the Senior Lawn. A string quartet played Pomp and Circumstance as the girls, dressed in Cinderella length white gowns and carrying long stemmed red roses, were presented one at a time to begin the evening. As is true with much of Charleston, the ceremony was grand and reflective of old traditions still held dear and of the school’s strong roots which will forever be a cornerstone of Ashley Hall.
